Siamo andati “Sulle Tracce dell’Energia” studiando la geografia e la storia dei Paesi che si affacciano sul bellissimo mar Mediterraneo.
Abbiamo scoperto le fonti di energia utilizzate dagli antichi popoli ma anche i progetti energetici di oggi, in particolare quelli che hanno come protagonista la nostra Sicilia. Ecco spiegato come sono nati i nostri due libri artistici!

We went “on the tracks of energy” studying geography and history of the countries that face on the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. We discovered the energy sources used by the ancient populations but also the nowadays energy projects, in particular those that have as protagonist our Sicily. Now it’s explained how our two artistic books were born!

News from Madagascar

Abbiamo attivato da tempo un gemellaggio con i bambini del Madagascar seguiti da un sacerdote missionario della nostra città. Abbiamo chiesto loro di fornirci notizie riguardo il proprio Paese e di raccontarci come vivono. Noi, in risposta alle foto ricevute e ai disegni sui loro sogni, abbiamo inviato le nostre letterine piene di riflessioni e desideri. Con tutte queste testimonianze abbiamo riempito un grande cartellone diviso in due sezioni, Italia e Madagascar.

It’s been time now that we have activated a twinning with the children of Madagascar supervised by a missionary priest of our town. We have asked them to give us news regarding their country and to tell us about how they live. As an answer to the photographs and the drawings received, we have sent them our letters full of reflections and desires. With all this evidence we have filled up a big poster divided up into two sections, Italy and Madagascar.

Energy in Wonderland

Gli ingredienti che compongono il nostro progetto sono: un plastico, un libro e un CD. Il libro, attraverso testi e disegni, narra la favola dell’airone “Energy”, che parte dal Delta del Po per visitare i Paesi del mondo. Quando tornerà a casa racconterà ai suoi amici i diversi modi di produrre energia visti in giro. Il plastico raffigura il territorio del Delta del Po e propone di produrre energia utilizzando fonti alternative. Il CD, infine, è una summa del nostro lavoro.

The ingredients that compose our project are: a model, a book and a CD. The book, through text and pictures, tells the story of the heron “Energy”, that departs from the Po Delta to visit the countries of the world. When hewill come back home, he will tell all of his friends the different ways to produce energy that he has seen around. The model shows the territory of the Po Delta and proposes to produce energy using alternative sources. The CD, in the end, is a summary of our work.

Il nostro plastico illustra le varie fonti e forme di energia in cui vengono riassunti il concetto di trasformazione dell’energia come grandezza fisica misurabile, la conoscenza di aspetti geografico-economici dell’energia in Italia, in Europa e nel mondo, l’educazione al risparmio energetico e alla salvaguardia del pianeta. Collegando la spina alla corrente elettrica si possono accendere le illuminazioni delle casette e vedere il funzionamento dell’energia eolica e idroelettrica.

Our plastic model shows the different forms of energy and sources, where it illustrates the concept of energy transformation into a measurable quantity, the knowledge of economic-geographical aspects of energy in Italy, in Europe and in the world, the education towards energy saving and the safeguard of the planet. Connecting the plug to the electric energy the illumination of the houses can be seen, and also the functioning of wind energy and hydroelectric power.
